Well thought I would take a break from ranting tonight and just do one of my favorite things. Sit back and watch some anime (or play video games). I once heard that the state I live in was going to try and outlaw it, but thats just to silly, isn't it?!

Fair and Balanced?
The news today sucks!!! They no longer just give us the straight facts (though I seriously doubt they ever did) and let us make up our own damn minds! Take FOX news for example...They are far right conservatives and they can only say how right the President is in all that he does and that anyone against him is a terrorist. On the other hand we have CNN...A lefty branch of the media who can only bitch and complain about the world and how we must all get along. The news should be niether left or right. It should just be a set of information for us to make up our own minds!!!!

Family
What ever happened to the family? It's been torn apart by todays idealogise (like work all the time, and that the TV is the best baby sitter). Well its time this change back to the way it was. Pay better rates and allow one day to be set aside for just the family!!! You want to save the idea of the family, this is the only way to do it.

Oil Prices!!!

Arrrgg it's so cold in my room right now! I would turn up the heat but the price of gas is to high to do that. Low income families like mine and my friends can barely get by in this day and age. Those with more money say "get a job" and "Why don't you make something of yourself?!" Like I haven't been trying. It's hard to do anything nowadays, but I guess looking back at history its always been this way!

Well its holiday time, god I love this time of year. Yet it has come to my attention that some on the far right would like us to believe that those on the far left are trying to destory Christmas. How? By saying Happy Holidays? Ok its in between Thanksgiving (which not many in this country celebrate anymore sadly) and New Years! This is the Holiday season. We also have our Jewish Brothers who celebrate Hanicaka (I am deeply sorry if I misspelled that (my spelling is apauling), Some that celebrate kwansa, and a few other celebrations. Why with all this merry making should we be fighting when we should be sitting down together and thanking god for this time to get to know one another better and to be thankful for what he has given us!!!

Terror???

Long have I watched the news reports about the war on terror and in Iraq. Every time we turn around in these days of war, we are told over and over again how scared we are. I don't know about any of you out there, but I am not scared. Why should I live in fear? Did we live in fear when we where attacked Dec. 7th? No!

Many on the Right are saying that this is a time like WW II. That is just wrong. This war is nothing like that epic war. This war has been fought wrong since day one!!! It should have been fought in the shadows like those who fight us do. Fight fire with fire! As for Iraq, Saddam is bad yes, but what about the other evils of the world? What about Kim Jong IL II of North Korea! Even China (who has the same political structure (as far as I know) is against him! And what ever happened to the war on terror? It went from Afghanistan to Iraq and that's where it is stuck! We need to pull out and rethink this war if we are truly committed to winning it!!!

Faith VS Dungeons and Dragons

I'm starting with this cause a friend of mine is totally into this game yet his family is saying that if he plays he will be a heretic for playing it. He is a Christan and a moderate democrat, his family is Christan Conservative republican (now mark my words, not all republicans are Conservative and not all democrats are liberals). Anyways his family says that the game seriously compromises faith in god. My question is how? Do you stop believing just because you play a game? If so then I gotta stop play solitaire! Some say its cause the game uses magic or trys to teach you how to use magic. OK Folks please listen here...This is fantasy, not real life.

People who play such games and Role Playing Games (RPG for short) usually only do it to escape real life for a little bit (sorta like a hour vacation). I guess what I'm trying to say today is...

You can play games and have a good time, but that doesn't mean you don't believe in god!!!
